Who we are
vivotienda is a service of vivotienda, which is responsible for your data. It's a platform that builds an online store from each seller's Instagram posts. If you have questions about your data, or send us an email at [email protected].
What data we use
From sellers: the email to sign in, the store's name and link, the WhatsApp number to receive orders, the store's description and address if they add them, and, with their permission, their Instagram username and name, profile picture, profile bio and Instagram posts (text, photos and date). We only read: we never post anything or see messages. From people who write to us through the contact form ("Contact us"): their name, email, message and the page they wrote from, so we can reply. From people who visit a store: we count visits and clicks on "Order on WhatsApp" in aggregate per day, without tracking cookies and without storing personal data. On the vivotienda site (the home page, the dashboard and sign-up, not the stores) we use Google Analytics to know how many people visit it and how they use it; it uses Google's own cookies. We also save the language you choose for the site in a cookie.
What we use it for
To build and show the store, keep it updated when the seller asks for it, let them sign in to their dashboard and email them when needed. We don't sell data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
With providers that help us run the service: Meta (connection with Instagram), Anthropic (an artificial intelligence reads the text of the posts to build each product; we also send it the first photo of each post, scaled down, only to read the text written on it), Cloudflare (stores the images), Railway (servers and database), Mailgun (sending emails) and Google (visit statistics for the vivotienda site, not the stores). Each of them uses it only for that.
How long we keep it
As long as the account is active. If the seller deletes their account, we delete their store, products and images. Technical logs are deleted after a few days. We keep messages from the contact form as long as needed to reply and follow up; if you want us to delete yours, .
How to delete your data
You can delete your account from the dashboard at any time. You can also remove vivotienda's permission from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites) and ask us to delete your data: we give you a code to track the status of the request. Or or send us an email at [email protected].
Security
We store Instagram permissions encrypted, use secure connections and only the vivotienda team can access the systems.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll announce it on this page and, if the change is important, by email.
