Your online store, built with AI from your Instagram

Instagram only lets other apps read posts from professional accounts (business or creator). With a personal account we can't bring in your products.

Switching is free, takes a minute and doesn't change anything you've already posted or your followers. On Instagram: your profile → menu (the three lines) → Settings and privacy → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account, and choose "Business" or "Creator".

If you added your business account from your personal profile ("Add account"), Instagram connects whichever account is open at that moment, which is usually the personal one. You have two options to connect your business account:

Option 1: switch accounts on your computer (the easiest)

Go to instagram.com, tap your photo → Switch accounts, choose your business account and then tap "Connect my Instagram".

Option 2: log in with your business username and password, from a private window

1. Open a private window (incognito) in your browser and sign in to vivotienda with your email.
2. Tap "Connect my Instagram". Since no account is open in that window, Instagram asks you to log in: type your business username and its password.
3. Accept the permissions. When you come back you'll see Connected as @yourbusiness. If it shows a different account, tap "Connect another account" and try again.

Don't know your business account's password? Since you created it from your personal profile, it may not have its own. Create one in the Instagram app: Settings → Accounts Center → Password and security → Change password, choose your business account and set a new one.

Only what we need to build your store:

• Your username, your name, your profile picture and your bio: for your store's header, its description and its color.
• Your most recent posts (up to 50): the text, the photos or video covers, the date and the link.
• The text of each post is read by an artificial intelligence to build the product page: name, price, sizes and colors. We also send it the first photo, scaled down, only to read what's written on it (for example, the price on a flyer); it doesn't use it for anything else.
• We keep a copy of the photos on our servers so your store loads fast and doesn't depend on Instagram.

We only read: we never post anything or see your messages, your followers or your insights. You can remove our permission whenever you want from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites) or delete your account from your dashboard, and we delete your data.

In your dashboard, each hidden product tells you why. It can be one of these:

• You hid it yourself from your dashboard.
• The post didn't look like a product, for example a giveaway, an announcement or a greeting.
• The post has almost no text, so we couldn't build the product page.
• It's missing a name: without a name it can't be shown.
• You reached the maximum number of posts processed this month: the rest are processed automatically next month.
• We're still processing it. When demand is high it can take a few hours.
• We couldn't read it and we're trying again.
• We're reading it again because you asked to go back to the Instagram version.
• You deleted it from Instagram, or you connected a different Instagram account.
• Your store isn't published yet: nobody can see it.
• Your store is disabled.
• It's an old post: we bring in your latest 50 posts.
• You posted it after the last update: tap "Update from Instagram" in your dashboard.

Except when it's because of the store, you can fill in the details and turn on "Show in my store" from your dashboard, without waiting. Products without a price do show up, with "Ask for the price".
